The Board of Judges of Asia CEO Awards 2016 has chosen Secretary Albert Del Rosario as this year’s Lifetime Contributor-Public Sector awardee. Under his leadership, the Department of Foreign Affairs was consistently ranked as one of the nation’s top government agencies according to various surveys — despite his term being one of the most difficult in Philippine history. Known as a disciplined and balanced patriot, Secretary del Rosario served the country as Secretary of Foreign Affairs under the Aquino administration. Congratulations to Ambassador Albert del Rosario!

Dado Banatao Educational Foundation, annually awards educational scholarships to intelligent Filipino students with bright futures in the field of engineering and technology. Through his Banatao Filipino American Fund, he assists Northern California high school students of Filipino heritage who are pursuing a college education in engineering. The award is open to for-profit organizations that achieved significant business growth and expansion across the ASEAN region. This award category is open to organizations which have demonstrated a commitment to introducing and boosting ASEAN economic capabilities and competitiveness within the region.
