Young SHERO of the Year


The award is open to Filipino women leaders who are under age 40 and who have achieved recognizable success, overseeing organizations in the Philippines that have advanced the nation's economic and/or social standing in the eyes of the world.

The majority of demonstrable results, major new activities or initiative(s) should have occurred within the current calendar year but may have begun earlier.


  1. Leadership Commitment - Describe how the candidate demonstrated inspiring and empowering values, integrity and leadership that resulted in growth and similar achievements of the organization.
  2. Pioneering Achievements - Explain the unique and innovative solutions attributable to the candidate's actions that led to her being recognized, and helped the economy and health status of the country.
  3. Sustainability and Scalability - Show how the candidate’s initiatives and solutions were sustainable and scalable locally and internationally and provide documentation.
  4. Social Commitment - Describe how the candidate’s commitment to do social good in relation to her solutions and/or initiatives.
