The Coca-Cola Company is the world’s largest beverage company, refreshing consumers with more than 500 sparkling and still brands. Coca-Cola Bottlers refreshes almost 85 million Filipinos throughout the country. With 23 manufacturing facilities and 47 sales offices across the country, it employs around 8,000 Filipinos, 80% of whom are based outside Metro Manila. The judges were impressed with their innovative sales and marketing plans that had a tremendously positive impact on their local business partners. The company is also celebrating their 100th year in the Philippines.

Finance Leadersip Team of the Year

Winner: MAERSK

Maersk Global Service Centre in Manila operates 24/7 supporting offices in Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas and Oceania with Customer Service Processes, Liner Operations, Finance and Accounting and Sales, Trade and Marketing & Analytics. The highly skilled workforce has increased dramatically since operations started in 1999 and now stands at close to 3,000 employees, with more growth expected in 2013. Their Finance-related teams have achieved significant improvement in terms of efficiency and cost reductions.

As General Manager of Fluor Philippines, Dan Spinks has overseen a tremendous expansion in the size and reputation of the company’s operations in Philippines. Personnel has increased by more than 40% over the past year to 3,000 employees – different growth to manage in high-end engineering services. As well, a new office were launched in Cebu. Philippines operations are now the 3rd largest for Fluor, a major achievement considering it is one of the world’s largest engineering companies. Fluor is celebrating its 100th year in business.
